JUNIOR NATIONAL CHAMPIONS DECIDED IN GS AND SLALOM

3rd September 2010

Taylor Rapley and Adam Barwood took top honours in the female and male Junior 2 category in both Giant Slalom and Slalom at Coronet Peak.

The fastest New Zealanders in the junior categories were named 2010 Junior Champion

Emily Wright became womens Junior 1 National Champion in both Giant Slalom and Slalom while the Mens Giant Slalom Junior 1 National Champion title went to Fraser McGlinn and the Mens Slalom Junior 1 National Championship winner was Harry Izard-Price.


Sarah Jarvis, of Whakapapa, defended both the GS and Slalom titles while Ohakunes Ben Griffin defended his GS title and Tim Cafe (Queenstown) captured the 2010 National Slalom Champion title.


The competition now moves to Mt Hutt with Super G scheduled for Monday, 6 September.
