NZ Ski to host the 2010- 2013 NZ National Alpine Championship

Snow Sports New Zealand (SSNZ) Alpine announced today that NZ Ski (Coronet Peak and Mt Hutt) has committed to hosting the NZ National Alpine Championships for the next four years. The event will include Super G, Giant Slalom and Slalom racing, for able bodied and adaptive athletes.
We are thankful to NZ Ski for making such a significant commitment to our sport and athletes by committing the resources to host this event for the next four years, said Snow Sports New Zealand's alpine manager, James Lazor.
"They have outstanding facilities and will no doubt host a world class event that will showcase our athletes and the facilities to participants and spectators throughout New Zealand and around the world.

Both Coronet Peak and Mt Hutt have established themselves as world-class alpine competition venues. In the past, this event has seen athletes from over 29 nations represented including some of the top World Cup and Olympic athletes.
2010 NZ National Alpine Championships Schedule
Monday, 30th August at Coronet Peak Mens and Womens Giant Slalom
Tuesday, 31st August at Coronet Peak Mens and Womens Slalom
Monday, 6th September at Mt Hutt Mens and Womens Super G
