Strong Performances in Youth Series at Mt. Hutt

 Friday and Saturday saw some of New Zealands best junior racers take to the slopes of Mt. Hutt for the seasons first Youth Series races in perfect racing conditions.

Wanakas Jackson Wells dominated the K1 age group with comfortable victories in the slalom, GS and Super G.

Fraser Hannon took the K2 slalom and finished second behind Laurie Taylor in the GS.

Justin Kumono won the K2 Super-G, with Hannon and Taylor right behind in second and third.

Jeremy Spratt swept the J1 races and Elizabeth Ried won the K1 GS and Super-G.

Eliza Grigg took top prize in the K2 GS, while Serena Willis won K1 slalom.

Piera Hudson captured the K2 slalom, followed closely by Eliza Grigg, who won the K2 GS.

Special thanks to the Mt. Hutt Race Department and all of the volunteers who helped ensure two great days of racing at Mt. Hutt.
