Dynastar Lange 2010 Junior Interfields Series - Round 2

26th July 2010

Treble Cones Mainstreet piste was the stage for young ski racers to test their skills and determination in an epic ski race that saw competitors from around the southern region compete for bragging rights, medals and prizes in Round 2 of the 2010 Dynastar Lange Junior Interfields Ski Race Series.

The snow arrived earlier in the week and the sun came out for a superb day of racing. Over 100 young ski racers enjoyed a great day of competition.

With two rounds completed the lead skiers in each division are emerging from the group. A huge range of quality gear was distributed to winners and place getters. Choice spot prizes were also distributed and no competitors went away empty handed.

Round 3 will take place at The Remarkables, next weekend,  August 1st. Round 3 will be part of a number of events that will make for a festive weekend up the Remarks as they mark their 25th anniversary with a weekend of festivities.

Three more rounds follow with two at Round Hill (14 and 15 August) and the final round of the series to be held at Cardrona Ski Area on 5 September.

You dont need to be a race trainer. All young skiers are encouraged to participate. Competitors can turn up and register on the day of competition or register in advance by contacting info@qast.org.nz
