In a busy week, Cafe headed straight from Meribel to Courchevel where he placed seventh in the Giant Slalom at the Courchevel FIS Races.

His results were good enough to help his points in both disciplines and in Super G his world ranking moved from 411 to 296.

Kiwi team mate Ben Griffin also had a good week with two fourth places and a ninth place finish.

Great Britains Douglas Crawford and TJ Baldwin placed first and second respectively in Super G at both the National Championships and Junior National Championships, while Polands Maciej Bydlinski picked up the win in Super Combined.
