Rapley has been training with the Vail Womens Ability Ski Team under ex US World Cup coach Dan Stripp which has led to much improved results in all alpine ski racing disciplines, especially slalom.

Leading on from two back to back slalom wins at the Millenium Cup in Crested Butte in January, Rapley found herself on the podium again with a second place in slalom and a third place in giant slalom at recent FIS races in Eldora, Colorado.

More recently Rapley competed in extremely poor weather and snow conditions at the U.S. Nationals where she completed both races improving her start position significantly.

With three golds, one silver and one bronze under her belt this Northern Hemisphere season, all secured with competitive fields of North American ski racers, Rapley is starting to hit her straps.
