Janina takes 2nd and sick bird at Nendaz FWQ event

15th March 2010

Janina Kuzma took 2nd place at the Freeride world tour qualifying event in Nendaz, Switzerland yesterday.

It was a bitter sweet result for Janina, who was banking on winning the event to take the final qualifying spot for the Tour finals in Verbier next weekend. But unfortunately she was pipped to the prize by Sweden's Janette Hargin who took the win and the wildcard to Verbier.

Janina did get a consolation prize by winning the woman's sick bird award and an amazing swiss watch for her troubles.

From Janina's Blog

So Ive just narrowly missed out on the last chance to receive a wild card for the Verbier Extremes. Bummer but I had an awesome run today sending it bigger  than all the girls and stopping my line, and receiving the sickbird award for the girls here on this qualifying stop. So what did I get for a sickbird award well the swiss are renowned for their watches so I received a watch by Dubey and Schaldenbrand the Spiral Rattrapante worth $12000 swiss francs. Check it out http://www.dubeywatch.com/Pages/spiralrattr.htm

So anyone want to buy a brand new watch?
