Byron Wells & Amy Sheehan through to Pipe semi's at European Open
5th March 2010
Day 2 of the European Open at Laax, saw the Superpipe qualifiers go off in mixed weather conditions.
The huge field was culled down to 32 men and 6 woman to go through to the semi finals where they will meet the pre-qualified skiers including NZ's Jossi Wells.
Byron like a lot of riders took it easy in the bad conditions qualifying comfortably in 5th place. Amy skied smoothly to bag 6th place and the final qualifying spot for the girl's final.
Wind and fog had the course on hold for parts of the morning making for a slow day but all competitors completed their runs and lets hope for better weather over the weekend.
Good luck guys.....
