Byron Takes 3rd at Aspen Open Pipe event
13th February 2010
Byron Wells stood on the podium for the first time this season as he took out third place at the Aspen Open. Byron who had qualified in first place through both heats and semis slipped up a bit in the final crashing on both his first two runs. He pulled it together and landed his final run but couldn't overhaul Gus Kenworthy and Walter Wood who took Gold and Silver.

Beau Wells also competed in the semi finals and ripped it as high and tech as the little man could but missed out on a finals spot, very impressive for someone so young competing against athletes much older than himself.
Amy Sheehan made it through to the woman's semi-finals but missed out on a finals spot in a high class woman's field, eventually won by Anais Caradeux.
