Cold weather helps snow making at The Remarkables
Cold temperatures saw The Remarkables snowmaking system kick back into action today (Monday June 23) in preparation for opening as soon as conditions allow.
The Remarkables Ski Area Manager Ross Lawrence said the ski area had received a dusting of snow overnight which was added to today by the man made snow.
“There’s also some snow forecast for tonight and the conditions are right to continue snowmaking,” he said.
