Jon Olsson Super Sessions

The Jon Olsson Super Sessions (JOSS) is one of the most prestigious competitions of the year. Put on by ski legend and entrepreneur Jon Olsson in his home resort Of Are in Sweden
21 of the worlds best freeskiing athletes and 12 of the worlds finest ski film makers work together in 7 different teams, representing 7 nations. The teams are: Sweden, Norway, Europe, Down Under, Newschoolers, USA and Canada. Each team consists of five persons, two filmers, two pro skiers and a rookie skier.
The teams will have 264 hours to unleash their creativity on the features in and around re. The goal: To put together the most amazing and entertaining 5-minute edit. Theres a neat cash prize. Winner takes it all.
Team Down Under this year is Jossi Wells, Russ Henshaw and rookie skier Dhanu Danger Sherpa. They will be filmed by Jason Hancox and Jake Largess.

Pretty awesome to have two Wanaka local boys representing team down under in this epic comp. The comp runs for 2 weeks and we will be keeping you updated here everyday....Check out the footage from the first couple of days...Good luck boys.....
